– The country house is available for take over by arrangement. Basic furniture will remain in place. The new owner is welcome to arrive earlier to prepare for moving in (guest cottage/log cabin)
– Maintenance costs are moderate: €2,000–3,000 per year for two people, including electricity, council charges, insurance and tax. On top of this comes the firewood for the winter. Approximately 1,000 euros if you buy logs and cut them yourself, roughly double that if you buy the wood ready-cut. There is still enough firewood in the woodpile to last one to two winters.
– The house’s central heating runs on firewood. Heating with electricity (electric cartridge) is also possible. It is also possible to install a pellet burner; there are separate systems available for this that can be fitted to the boiler. Domestic hot water is heated electrically via a boiler.
– All building services are in working order. A solar panel system is pre-installed.
– The nearest airport is also in Arvidsjaur, offering daily flights to Stockholm, and direct flights to Germany in winter.
